Job in KLAW: Guitar, backing vox, songwriting.

Musical experience: Studies at Swiss Jazzschool & Los Angeles Music Academy, playing and composing for several jazz bands 1997-2012 („noretro“, „outmars“, „CAS“, „chasperwannerquartet“). Since 2008 back to the roots with hard & heavy music : „driving force“, „sinside“, „Eddie’s Beast“ (Iron Maiden coverband), „Poltergeist“ (reunion of the legendary Swiss thrashers).

Influences, favorite bands: Exodus, Testament, Slayer, Onslaught, Kreator, Pantera, Overkill, Anthrax, GurD, old Megadeth & Metallica, Annihilator, Iron Maiden, Van Halen…but also jazz musicians like John Scofield, Pat Metheny, Chick Corea, Esbjorn Svensson Trio.

This inspires me: Watching concerts, my guitar students, meeting and talking to interesting people, spending time with my kids.

I like: METAL!!, playing guitar, writing riffs & songs:-)), playing on stage, singing, guitar amps & gear, teaching guitar, open minded people, spaghetti aglio/olio, coffee.

I do not like: War & violence, injustice, animal cruelty, liars, one dimensional & intolerant people, „Mr & Mrs knows-it-all“, bell-pepper, cheese, fishy stuff;-).

What I do in life (besides KLAW): Father of two boys, teaching guitar and band workshops at music schools in Switzerland.
